David Younkins, Massage Therapist
David has been working with the human body for 16 years as a personal trainer focusing on post-rehabilitation, a nutrition coach, and a health coach. He is a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is also working on an MPH in nutrition and is a certified nutrition coach, and so he can offer basic nutritional advice for healing and performance in the context of your sessions.
His massage approach combines movement and orthopedic assessment with Swedish massage, myofascial release, ‘trigger point’ therapy, and stretching with some facilitated movement. He also enjoys providing exercise home-care recommendations for the remediation of a client’s movement challenges.
